Can you ever get better?
It's been a bit since I posted last.
Today's thoughts are centering more around...apparently not just one thought like normal. More like a tangle of thoughts. One is whether or not things are really in my head, whether or not I get an attitude because I do not like where a conversation is going and how that stops my own ability to have a conversation, and the resonding question of can it get better.
Can I ever function within a normal conversation? With anyone?
What is even worse is that I had one really good (physically not good) thing go on this morning. I found out that someone really has been going through my desk. It is not just in my head that things move around on my desk. And then to get into an argument with some stupid woman from a construction client over some stupid certificate that she insists she needs done one way, which everything that I saw said that she should not have needed it for the workers comp one, but in the middle of the conversation I just lost all ability to show her this fact, instead the conversation devolved into a children back and forth squabble.
I really need to get better about having conversations. Actually, not just conversations, but discussions and arguments.
The answer is yes, it can get better with practice and work. It is not going to be easy or simple. I may have to force myself to have conversations with random people as well. I think part of the problem is that I am not getting enough practice, and I have gotten a little, nope a lot, lazy about being in apart of a conversation.
