Can this day be over?
Luckily, I have counseling tonight. I need to talk with someone and my nerves are craving wine but will go to counseling instead. I pretty much told my boss today that I'm not answering anymore personal questions. Not to mention-before the blow up-she was on to me about some work I did. As much as I dont want to start looking for another job, I feel it might be time. This job has not gone the way it was intended from the beginning and sure the co-worker that left would be having a good laugh. I feel that she and I were becoming friends but then one day a light switch got flipped and she started acting cold and detached. I immediately put my wall up and closed myself off-hince no more personal answers.

glad you have counselling. work is such a hassle
I subscribe to the career/interesting-life building motto that you should ALWAYS be looking for another job, whether you want one or not. Knowing what options are currently available to me make it much easier to get through those storm seasons of the work-a-day world, especially when I call my boss, "Hubs." Here bossy, bossy, bossy. . .
And then we get to the study of the many diffs between boundaries and walls. . . Why can't life be simple?
Onward through the fog. . .
Gentle support while you sort your own, Sage. Easy does it, my healing warrior.
No doubt about it. . . "Work" is a four letter word that ends in "k".
