Can't take on his problems

Well, my husband comes home yesterday & says he was "almost fired", but wouldn't say exactly why.  "it was a number of things."  (OK)  But he just got a disciplinary warning & is on probation for 90 days.  Then he rants about how the job tires him out & he wishes they did fire him, etc.
Well, for  1 thing, you can't collect unemployment if you get fired for disciplinary things (found out from a friend of mine).  For another, what the heck kind of attitude is that?
Well, I saw the warning notice on the table tonite.  Basically in part for the stolen gear I wrote about a while back, and partly because of some (probably inadvertantly) damaged property.
I'm not sure what exactly to think of all of it, except that I personally am not going to "take it on".  I don't think he has a good attitude as a worker; or at least he's always complaining about the job, though I think he actually likes to complain about it!  Now he's talking about looking for something else.
Bottom line, his job is his problem.  But what my problem is that if he doesn't bring in any money, he ends up spending the $ I make, which is just enough to pay the bills & pay down the debt.  I do have it set aside, but he keeps using that ATM card like it's bottomless.
Well, let's see what happens.
