Can I ever catch a break...
Hello to all!
I have been absent for quite some time, but i have been logging on to see all of the great news on DS, Congrats to everyone and their positive news! and I still have a lot of hope going out to everyone else wherever you are in your cycle!
So the past few months we have stopped treatment, insurance was covering nothing, and we just couldn't afford to do it anymore! So I started searching for an additional insurance plan, thinking since the Affordable Care Act is in effect now, they couldn't discrimininate because of my preexisting condition, but to what I am finding, there are no plans out there to help us to move on. :-(
I am looking for advice, encouragement, or knowledge that anyone might have on insurance or ways to pay for IVF or additional treatments. I am open to any suggestions and would do just about anything to complete our family!
Happy Friday to all!

There are some IVF grants out there. One of the clinics I have used is on the board for one...

Also, have you talked about a personal or medical loan?
I hate that becoming a mommy is restricted by money for so many of us! Good luck hun!
I know a lot of clinics go through financing companies. The one my clinic uses is ARC. They have some good options where you get deep discounts for multiple cycles. Might be worth checking out http://www.arcfertility.com. Good luck hun :)
Ugh! I\'m so sorry to hear this hun. We took out a personal loan to finance our IVF- we did get a good discount through our clinic on multiple cycles but we are now paying off a $26,000 loan. It sucks!
I have been in graduate school since finding out we needed to do IF treatments, so i\'ve been using my student loan money and getting help from my parents. They didn\'t have much to offer, but the fact they wanted to help was amazing. I now have stupid loans up the ass, but i know they were for a good cause :-)
