Can I even list this house?

I am at a crossroads - If I can sell the house, I don't have to go bankrupt. But the real estate agent, and she is the second one I have tried, was supposed to call me yesterday and still has not called.
If I cannot even find someone who will list the property, what will I do? I will have to go through the long painful process of going bankrupt or try to refinance? Or should I just walk away and get it over with? 
I am so very, very close to ruination that it is not funny. I cannot keep carrying this expense month after month by myself. Even if I were living in an apartment with a reasonable rent and reasonable expenses, things would be tight, but this is completely unmanageable. The only reason that I've been able to pull it off for so long is because of credit, and the credit has caught up with me.
I am desperate to hear whether or not the agent is willing to try, and so very, very afraid that she is my last hope of unburdening myself of this mistake.
