Call Center

Read in the newspaper that another company is opening a call center in the old building where I worked.  They're going to hire 500 people.  But, its too late for me.  With my hands going bad, there's no way I could do the job now.  Just wonder what the pay will be.  The old pay put me in debt with the expense of driving to another town and now, gas prices are a whole lot higher than then.  Why couldn't they have opened a year ago?  I might have had a better chance then.

This is painful. I can relate in so many ways.

This is all part of those wonderful jobs that went to Mexico, China, and Korea.

Those \"prosperity\" years of Clinton and Bush seem such a far distant memory now...don\'t they??

Globalization of our economy has been a real bargain for everyone else, but us.
