Calendar Set
Well the calendar is set!! I will go in for an ultrasound on Monday, July 26th, and will start my new medication that evening. I will be on a new medication protocol so that will be interesting. The ER and transfer will be the week of August 16th. I can't believe that we are starting this all over again. The time spent with the doctors isn't nearly as bad as the 3 1/2 drive. I really don't enjoy travelling anywhere, don't get me wrong, I l.o.v.e going places but the sitting in the car part drives me nuts!
Is it weird that I actually start going through withdrawals from the nurses and patient coordinator when we aren't planning or doing a cycle. These people are such a huge part of your life during this and know all your deepest secrets and desires. So when it doesn't work and the appointments and phone calls stop it is almost like you grieve for not only the lose of not being pregnant but the people who have become a friend during this. Enough of the mushy stuff...
I'm so thankful that this cycle will be completed prior to returning to the new school year. To add to our rollercoaster my husband has accepted a new job in a new town. He was able to negotiate the relocation benefits so we won't have to start the move until March. He will commute about 3 hours a day, UGH, but the benefits, pay increase and growth opportunities are unbelievable. He will be doing a lot of travelling so not everyday will be spent in the office. We might have to look at other options if the commuting doesn't work. I will finish this school year where I am and hopefully will be able to find a job in our new town. Not sure how excited I am to move especially if I am pregnant or a new mom. However it will be a good reason not to left a finger. I'm a little bit of a control freak so I'm not sure about people I don't know coming in and pack up my belongs and moving them. But the company pays for everything so how do you say no!?! I think I will be a very good supervisor.
Well, tomorrow I will receive my prescription and call the pharmacy to order my meds. That part stinks, I obviously went into the wrong profession.
