Cold
I'm cold! It's cold in this house! Winter has hit with lows in the 20s. The space heater I used in the old computer room is now in the living room. I figured I wouldn't need it anymore since the computer is in the living room now. But, the wall furnace doesn't push the heat to the other side of the room,,,the side with the front door on it, directly across from the computer with the window air conditioner next to it. Nights are an adventure with me huddling under the electric blanket head an all. That's the only heat in the room. I have a thermometer in the room and I just checked it. 38 degrees!!! I don't trust the space heater in the bed room when I'm asleep or in the living room when I got outside. There's no heat in the kitchen or bath room. I guess if I hadn't left the faucets dripping in the sinks and shower, they might have frozen. Left the outside faucets dripping too. It's cold,,,outside and inside.

That offer i made last year about sending you flannel sheets still stands, my friend. Just give me the signal, lol. Come winter time, i put those suckers on my bed and every night i\'m as snug as a bug in a rug. And we\'re MUCH colder up here in Canada, lol. Take it from a certified Canadian, flannel is the way to go. Hugs and kisses, Debbie Toasty Toes! :o)
Thanks Deb, but I went through worst when the gas was turned off. 38 ain\'t bad since the outside temp was 25.
I have plug in electric radiators I use when it is too cold..the wall radiators (especially in my bedroom) just don\'t cut it. I have two blankets on my bed, and also use flannel sheets in the winter like Deb..they really help. The worst part is before getting in bed..once there just a few minutes curled up with blankets snug, I have body heat that usually kicks in and then I\'m ok. Socks are a must!!LOL! Doesn\'t it seem, nose and feet get coldest? Brrrr... If I were you I would snuggle with Foxy..she will help alot!! Before you know it ,summer will be upon us, and we will be dying of the heat!! Hey..Doesn\'t the landlord pay for heat? or can you get fuel assistance?
love, Sue
Thanks to my cpap machine, I can put my head under the covers. Foxy for some reason is staying on top of the covers. She used to love to get under. No, the landlord doesn\'t pay for heat. I pay all the utilities. I\'m in the process of trying to get assistance for utilities and food. Waiting on them to decide. Got an email from Vickie saying she got a letter about assistance and from what it said my income would qualify. Hope so.
