C-Leg

Tomorrow 12/28/2008 I am taking delivery of my C-leg it has been a long wait. My life has been on hold for a year.I have learn alot in the last 12 months. One of the most impoetant things that I have learned is that people for the most part are good.I have learned that women have a more difficult time dealing with a guy with one leg most can not even hold eye contact.I know this sounds sexest but this has been my experance during the last 12 months. As for the many nurses that I have come accrossed in my many doctor's office visit'sthey are gold in my book. The doctor that did my amputation is himself dieing from bone cancer. He is a down to earth kinda guy whom understands.I have called this guy every name in the book at one time or the other mostly because he would do something that needed to be done and did not want any more complacations then there had to be.Now starts the physical pain of learning how to walk and getting my stump use to haveing my whole body weight on it.This should prove to be interesting.
