Bye Bye my excellent tractor

For 1 1/2 acres of grassland, I purchased a lawn tractor with a 42" mower blade, and for a winter that routinly throws several feet of snow at me it had a 42" snowblower attachment, and for yard work that required the hauling of logs and stones and other objects from one area to another, I bought a utility trailer for this lawn tractor.
I loved my tractor, which was serviced by a shop 5 minutes down the road from me. I paid over $3K for this set up, and it has served me very well for the last 2 years. It has blown my snow and mowed my lawn and hauled my stuff and I just loved it.
But today, in light of the fact that I will be gone soon and my car apparently needs to either have a couple of thousand of dollars of work done to it or replacement, I asked my service guys to sell it for me. They agreed to put it on consignment for $1K, and took it away.
I had a good cry, but if they can sell it, the $1K will go a long way towards the goal that I need to acheive in this endevour.
I will miss my excellent tractor, but I will not miss this place. It has not served me well - it has saddened me and cost me everything that I have had and was a huge mistake.
I feel very bad today, and just wish that I could get all of this over with.
