Bye bye metformin...
Well, I went the hospital on Wednesday and have officially been taken off my blood sugar meds. Very pleased about this. Plus I've lost 38% of my excess body weight which is great news. Generally feeling happier in myself as a person. For the most part at least, some times I'm still filled with self doubt but I'm learning to push that aside. As I'm currently unwell again my exercise has been limited to slow plodding about the flat and the occasional forced outing to uni. New term, new germs. You'd think with the army of vitamins I take my body could handle this, apparently not. It's not as bad as it could be. Thankfully just tonsillitis. Something I can cope with. Another good thing: I fitted into the top! My goal has been achieved. Very happy that I walked into uni on the first day in this lovely new chequered tunic top, made me feel really good about myself.
As for uni itself, I still love it but it's taking a while to get back into the swing of things. This year counts as 25% of my overall degree so the pressure is really on. Luckily the stress no longer makes me want to eat, rather it no longer makes me hungry at all. Just a little bit tired. A victory in the head department for sure. Another good thing. All in all a good few weeks
