Such a nice way to end the summer! My husband's birthday today, & he's been in remission for 5 months now. Weather couldn't have been more perfect. We took one of our grandsons to the boardwalk late afternoon. Smells of salt air mingled with pizza, sausage & peppers, & cotton candy. He & my husband went on lots of the rides. (I rode one - the swings - and walked away from the ride like I was drunk. PWPs do not do well on rides, I think!) Beachgoers lingered on the sand & the ocean was just a beautiful sight. After we took grandson home, Ted & I went out to dinner. Goodbye summer, happy birthday, & welcome fall.
