Busy weekend!

Company all weekend! Husband's buddy down Friday evening - Sunday evening, a girlfriend over Saturday to make a vat of homemade chicken noodle soup for her church dinner, and then another girlfriend and her family over Sunday to help with the venison hamburger grinding annual event! 160 lbs of hamburger ground and packaged! It was a productive, but tiring weekend!
Really nice to be around others and have a purpose other than drinking! Guys limited themselves to beer on Saturday night. I don't drink beer so no problems there!
Reading the book "Alcohol, a love story" and recognizing that while I was drinking in a very unhealthy, alcoholic way for the last year or so, I do not and have never drank like the folks I am reading about. Feeling thankful that I was able to recognize the problem and stop before I got where they were. Tired this morning, but it's a good and well earned fatigue!!
Busy week ahead at work, but I am ready for it! It's going to be a great week!!
