Burning Bowl
I felt you right next to me honey!
As I sat waiting our rows turn to walk up and place our written intentions about what we want to let go of for the New Year in the bowl to burn, your presence was electrifying! Tears were rolling down my face, I could barely contain myself; at the same time I was feeling a sense of calm I haven't felt since you left.
As I walked the isle towards the front of the church with the candles lit and the two bowls accepting each participants written desires I felt you behind me encouraging me. It was amazing!
As I lit my page and placed it in the bowl I new this was a very, very important step for me to take. It felt kind of like closing a door to a room with large comfy chairs, a cozy fire and love flowing everywhere, while at the same time opening another door into which the love from the first room was pouring in with warmth and great energy to move forward!
For the first time since your passing I feel a sense that I will make it.
You were the most wonderful husband one could ask for, your love is in my heart in a place that will never allow for its release. Your wonderful smile and caring, gentle presence are mine forever.
I love you Clyde. How do I thank you for you, and what you gave me during our 30 years together? I think by opening my heart and allowing my love to flow more freely, to share the goodwill you always gave so that it will spread in the most kindest and furthest of ways.
Oh yes, I will continue to work on the patience thing!
Your wife,
Lindanne
