Burial Outfit
I was just online at Target looking at baby clothes. I don't know if this is helping or hurting me, but I use to do it so much. Anyway the outfit I buried my son in is still available and I want to buy it. I saw it in the store 5 monthes before he was due and went back and bought it even though I thought it was too soon to start buying baby things. It was going to be his coming home outfit. Would it be weird it I bought a second one just to have for the rest of my life to remember what he is wearing? God this is awful, eight weeks and I still feel like my heart was ripped out.

I lost my daughter the day before you lost your son. I don\'t think it\'s weird at all. That outfit is so special. We have such few things to remember our angels by - one more thing is worth it.
If I were in your situation I would buy it, you can put it away for now if it\'s still too painful... At least you won\'t regret not buying it in the future. I have both of the outfits my baby boys wore.
I would buy it, I don\'t think it is weird at all. I wish I had what Ty was wearing but I don\'t. I find myself still looking at baby things for him, but I find it helps me, it reminds me of what he would be wearing and I can imagine what he would look like. Some comfort in a dark time. Hugs
The outfit that I was going to be bring Andrew home in I actually had 2 different sizes. I didnt know what size he was going to be so I had newborn and 0-3 months. Well I put him in the newborn size and that is what I left on him and I have the other one laying in his crib. I love the fact of having the outfit I know he is in. I highly reccomend buying it, you will love having it. Hugs
I don\'t think it is strange at all. If it makes you feel better, buy it. It is something else to remember your precious son. I\'ve thought about buying the outfit my daughter was cremated in too. It was so pretty and she looked adorable in it. Do whatever you decide is right for you. Hugs, Corrine
Thanks ladies, I just ordered it. I will display it in my son\'s room.
I\'m glad you are buying it... It could be a great form of therapy.
Hugs!!!

The bring home outfit that I bought for son Max that he ended up being cremated in came with a bib. I kept the bib as a reminder of the outfit and have it on his memorial shelf at home with his picture. Its like I still have a piece of his first and last day with me.
Our going home outfit ended up being Emily burial outfit. I never thought of getting a 2nd one to keep. I think I\'ll look! I actually think its a good idea!
I don\'t think that is weird at all!!! go buy it!
We had a newborn sized outfit that we planned on bringing Ben home in. Since that was too big, we bought a preemie sized version of it for his burial and we have the newborn sized version in our memory box.
