Burglar leaves blood behind Smoking

--A Cobbler Court man reported on Dec. 5 that someone shattered a glass door on the side of his home and stole $18,000 worth of items and jewelry, including a Rolex watch, an antique gold ring and Apple computer. A fingerprint was lifted from one of the jewelry boxes. --A realtor for a property on Hurffville-Grenloch Road reported on Dec. 7 that a central air condition unit was stolen from the home. She named five contractors working on the property in recent weeks. --A 46-year-old Atlantic City man was arrested for shoplifting on Dec. 10 after employees said they witnessed the man gather items in the store and then attempt to return them for cash. He was arrested and brought to police headquarters where he was issued a summons for court and released. --A Plymouth Place man reported on Dec. 11 that someone entered his unlocked vehicle overnight and stole a GPS and rear back-up camera worth a total of $400. --A Washington Township woman reported on Dec. 3 that she had $1,000 in cash in her purse when she had family over on Nov. 30 and noticed as she went to go holiday shopping afterward that the $1,000 was missing. They did not know who took the money and reported the incident to their insurance company. --A Washington Township man reported on Dec. 5 that as he got in his car after grocery shopping, he left his blood pressure medication prescription in his cart, but when he immediately went back in to retrieve it the prescription was not in the cart. He found the empty pharmacy bag without the medication in the trash. Video surveillance from Shoprite showed an employee take the bag from the cart and throw the medication Newport Cigarettes Price in a storm drain. The medication was valued at $446. --A Pittsgrove woman who works in Washington Township reported on Dec. 17 that her wallet was stolen from her desk in her office at the Gloucester County Health Department on East Holly Avenue. It was accessible to other employees and the public. One of her credit cards was used that afternoon at Masso's Catering in Glassboro for $12.88. The case was forwarded to a detective. --A Williamstown woman who also works at the Gloucester County Health Department reported her wallet was stolen from her office on Dec. 17 as well. It was also accessible to other employees and the public. No suspicious activity on her cards was reported, and the incident was forwarded to a detective. --A 22-year-old Washington Township man was arrested for driving under the influence on Nov. 30 after he Carton Of Newports was stopped for traveling 60 mph on Greentree Road in a 40 mph zone. After police pulled the man over on Greenwood Drive, he failed field sobriety tests and was taken to police headquarters where a breath Newport 100S test indicated his blood alcohol content was .17. He was released to another individual with summons for court. --A Marlboro Gold 23-year-old Washington Township man was arrested for driving under the influence on Dec. when he was pulled over in the parking lot of the Olde Stone Village for swerving in and out of his lane on Egg Harbor Road. After failing field sobriety tests, the man was arrested and brought to police headquarters, where he was released to his parents with a court summons.
