Bunny News

Well, he's still here. Had a scare last night.  While we were feeding him, he just sucked down a bunch of the milk really fast., then yawned really big and some milk came out of his nose.  I had read not to squirt the milk to him too fast, cause bunnies can aspriate the milk or get too much milk in their tummies too fast (called bloat) and either one of those can kill them.  But I didn't squirt any into him, he just sucked it down.  anyway, he moved around during the night, my daughter found him on top of the "nest" when she peeked in on him.  She moved him back under the nesting materials (we took some fur and grass that dumb dog had dug out of the real nest).  And said he snuggled back in.  I checked on him this morning, still sleeping.  So I think he is okay.  Cause he last feeding was about 12 hours ago.  Anyway this is the 4th morning for him to wake up in this house.  And every morning he sees a new day increases his chances.  Still don't know how old he is, but bunnies open their eyes on day 10.  Then we will need to find a bigger "home" for him, cause he will be ready to move around more.  And believe it or not, start eating solid food.  I am thinking he must have really been newly born.   My kids want to name him Miracle, I think Energizer fits.
