Bumpy Roads In Life

It never ceases to baffle me that just when you think you're really getting all your dicks in some sort of a row that life just gets in there throws everything off course. I had reached a point where I really did feel like the whole Lupus thing was firmly being pushed to the background until something started twisting that thorn in my side called sleep disruption.  Once I'm there it seems a very hard cycle to get out of.  Lately it can take me up to 3 hrs to fall asleep then it's sleep, wake up, sleep, wake up.  Then when my restless leg syndrome kicks in that really makes life interesting.  It's a good thing I'm not in the work force because I sure wouldn't be worth much sometimes.  Normally I have ways I can break this cycle but I feel too scattered lately.  I've been putting off speaking with my dr abt sleep aids but there's a nagging little part of me that says I might not have any choice.  Then too I've had a flu/cold for abt 10 days now & I'm hoping that now that it's on it's way out I can start to regroup myself again. Hubby's really been having a hard time.  His emphezema the last few weeks seems to be bothering him more but the other day we realized that right after his brachy therapy cancer treatment he was not able to get back to regular swimming & co-incidently this is when it happened.  We do know his regular exercise does keep blood & oxygen pumping & we were just going to start to do something abt this - now he's suffering with my cold & his coughing problem with it is horrible.  I'm hoping by working with him with these breathing exercises we've got & a serious of body exercises that he can do pretty much sitting down that we can start to rectify this matter. Oh yea another tidbit - I thought I'd be a good girl & have an H1N1 shot - wow - did it knock me down but good for 24 hrs.  Fever, the whole bit.  It didn't bother hubby at all though so I'm happy for him.
