Bummer

Finally got in to see the hand surgeon today as a follow up to a fall I had when running back in May.  He's "the hand guy" in town, so it's hard to get in to see him.  He looked at the radiographs they took in the ER back in May and saw a fracture they hadn't noticed.  Now I'm in a splint for at least a month and can't play piano with my left hand.  I had really gotten back into piano and even though it hurt to hit some chords, I could at least get enough of them to get by and playing was a really good outlet for me.  I had bought a keyboard to take on vacation next week so I could really work on some songs.  Guess I'll still take it and plink a little with my right hand, but I'm definitely bumming.......will have to come up with a new hobby for now that I can do one handed.  Drinking beer is the only one that comes to mind immediately :-)
