Buddhism in the world

It's all about tolerance. Tolerance for other people's actions and characteristics and tolerance for one's own thoughts and moods in a big bustling city, like New York. It's very hard not to judge -- is this person threatening? is this person kind? is this person a little crazy?  Can I be calm in a crowd?  On a line?  Waiting while people push and shove?  Where is the calmness? It's not easy to find in midtown New York!
