I am scheduled for surgery for my Right BTK on March 30th. I must admit that I am a bit nervous. I have been doing a lot of research to prepare, but there are so many unknowns.
Surgery and recovery went great. Received my new leg from Hanger today, May 14. Wore it for two hours today, four hours tomorrow; if it doesn\'t hurt. So far it feels great to have two feet on the floor.
I will have had my new leg for two weeks on Monday May 28,2012. I am still getting used to it. The most vexing thing so far, is trying to get the right number of sock plies for a proper fit throughout the day.
