Brutal Winter
The gastritis is lifting very slowly. Today finally saw the Dr to get a referral to Gastro specialist. She wouldn't do it. Came home in tears, fuming. Has sent me for an ultra sound to check gallbladder and blood test for H Pylori (after some persuasion).
My cfs stuff is still going to be there, basically very shaky trying to be active 1-5pm and again 7:30-11:00pm. Is a complete grind , feel terrible EVERY SINGLE DAY, since early November. Encouraged by journal by MaxPB, counting blessings. Enjoying some audio books, meditation CD's, hubby ,cat and I watch TV in the evening. The cold is really getting to me. Glad to see DS friends are hanging in. Looking forward to spring!

Hey pouty, so sorry your appointment was upsetting and the doc refused a referral.Go to another one if you don\'t get the service you need.I know that horrible shaky feeling you have, and the lack of stamina that comes with it.The more shaking I have the more collapsed I end up.So sorry that you feel ill every day . Wouldn\'t if be great if we could hang out together for a day, here and there.Of course that would be lying around and chatting, maybe watching a movie, have a few hot drinks.Just a girls day, hey.No guys allowed.Hang in there, and keep persevering with that gastro specialist.I found out quite some time ago I had a stomach ulcer and treated it.Also had my gallbladder removed, ferocious , painful attacks for many years.However it at least relieved some added suffering on top of the cfs.Our bodies can\'t take all the extras, so don\'t give up on getting a diagnosis for your stomach pain.xx

You can find another doctor who can give you a referral. Why for goodness sake, would your doctor refuse to refer you to a specialist? UGH! Find someone else if you need to. I have gastritis. It\'s very painful. I can\'t take drugs like Prilosec or Nexium...they actually cause depression in me. I had to revamp my entire food intake. I was allergic to many foods that I didn\'t know were giving me trouble. Dairy was a huge one. That also took away a lot of my calories, so I lost weight....UGH..nothing is simple. I do think you need a gastro guy to see you through this. Test for H.Pylori is a good thing to do. If it comes back positive, antibiotics will cure it! xoxo
