Bruises

One of the things I do is to relate to a client in the manner in which he/she is disabled...  When I worked with a client who had blindness, I would cover my eyes and walk with a white cane at the mall to see what it was like...
Yesterday, as my client previously told me, I dragged myself through my home as she had when her hip was broken, trying to reach for help...
Needless to say, I am a bit battered and bruised...
Interestingly enough, I like it...  And that makes me pretty nervous...

Sounds like you take the time to really put yourself in your clients place so you will know their needs etc

maybe you like that you aren\'t as bad off as your clients, though at same time being nervous that maybe, though hopefully nothing really bad will happen, it could happen to you.

after reading some bike accidents in the paper, I\'ve cut down on my biking along narrow back roads and a highway with a narrow bike route; was just months ago I never thought twice about such stuff.

Miss Annettearizona, you are right... I try to do so as much as I can so I can be familiar with what is going on with them... It helps me empathize... Penntucky, you are so right... Sometimes it is through the tragedies of others, unfortunately, we learn measures we never considered before... You are very wise, very wise... Thank you both for your friendship...
