Brr

Good grief, its minus 7 today. Finally had to turn on the furnace. lol.Things are good here. The meeting was so nice last night, we had a new girl. she was pretty quiet, but at least she was there. There are a lot of cakes coming this week. They said mine is next Saturday. I just love them all so much. They put up with me when I walked in there last Nov., I was sweating out booze, and felt ill, and they were so happy to see me! lol.It was really cold and windy walking there last night, feels like it could snow, but it s not in the forecast yet. Its been a really good year. I have learned to appreciate my life, to change the things I can, and not worry about the things I cant. I have lovely children, a job, new friends, and so much gratefulness. I dont wake up cranky anymore, things dont get to me as easily, and I even bought some paint to get started on my kitchen. yes, things are looking up. lol.Thanks to daily strength for giving me the strength to get back to A.A. thank you all.
