Broken

Heard this song on my way home today and it just sums up my feelings this week...
"I'm falling apart, I'm barely breathing
With a broken heart that's still beating,
In the pain there is healing,
In your name I find meaning,
So I'm holdin' on, I'm holdin' on"
~Lifehouse
On another note, it was so difficult for me to sit in church on Easter and be joyful when all I wanted to do was cry my eyes out!  However, Father C. gave a good homily.  Interestingly enough, he somehow mentioned Chinese characters.  Apparently, in Chinese the word "crisis" is made up of two characters- one representing "danger" and the other representing "opportunity."  Whether this is true or not, I choose to believe that in time of crisis, an opportunity may arise.  So although I sit here depressed with a massive headache and AF wreaking havoc on my body, I'll try to have hope for the future.
We're looking into adopting a dog.  DH has wanted one for a while and I was always hesitant until spending some time with a friend's pup this weekend.  So we shall see what happens.  That's all for now.

Thank you for posting the lyrics. I am so sorry that you are hurting so badly. I think getting a dog is a great idea. We have 3 :)

I\'m sorry that you are having such a hard time. I like your thinking that in time of crisis an opportunity may arise. A dog is definitely a good idea. I also have 3 and while they can be pains in my rear end at times, I love them all and wouldn\'t have it any other way. They are my fur babies :)

Ha...I tell my kids that all the time..the Chinese thing...I usually do a \"quote of the day\" and we talk about it. I\'m a teacher too! Easter was tough for DH and I too. My parents came in town and we went to 6am mass expecting there to be less people and fewer kids...we were definitely wrong. It did sting a little bit to see all the kids dressed up really nice and cute and their grandparents making cute faces at them and holding them...and then turning to my parents...NOTHING! They don\'t have any grandchildren, I am their only child and I\'m adopted. I\'m sure they must have felt a sting for us too. Oh well...we went out to breakfast after that and we still got to come home and play with our adorable 3 rescue dogs!!! GET THE DOG!!!! hugs!

As always, thanks for your words of encouragement and support! Trying4ever, I\'ve never heard the Chinese thing before...what grade do you teach? I taught 1st for 5 years and this year I\'m teaching 3rd. I am glad to hear everyone\'s support for the dog...we have put in an application to adopt a rescue dog...so hopefully we will hear soon!
One bit of good news I got today is when I called my insurance company to find out if they\'ll cover visits to the RE/infertility treatments, and they do! So that was a silver lining
Baby dust to all!
