British summer time is here, officially at least

Good morning journal, the time is 8:24am,if it was yesterday, the time would be 7:24am,why?,because the clocks all over the British Isles went forward one hour at 1:00am this morning;British summer time is officially upon us,oh be still my beating heart!. I have been awake since 8:05am,(BST),and am on my first mug of coffee of the day, this morning,I am a little better spiritually, yesterday passed very pleasantly,if quietly, and I retired to bed just before midnight, exhausted, but as content as a man can be under the present circumstances we find ourselves in.This morning,it is Easter Sunday,a very special day for Christians everywhere, and in our home,it is a day when my wife and I remember our Savior Jesus Christ,His sacrifice for us,and His resurrection and triumph over death. As we turn to the word of God,we can read of the Savior's crucifixion and return to life,Matthew 27:59 - 28:3 And Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60 and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the entrance of the tomb and went away. 61 And Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting opposite the grave. 62 Now on the next day, the day after the preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered together with Pilate, 63 and said, "Sir, we remember that when He was still alive that deceiver said, 'After three days I am to rise again.' 64 "Therefore, give orders for the grave to be made secure until the third day, otherwise His disciples may come and steal Him away and say to the people, 'He has risen from the dead,' and the last deception will be worse than the first." 65 Pilate said to them, "You have a guard; go, make it as secure as you know how." 66 And they went and made the grave secure, and along with the guard they set a seal on the stone. 28:1 Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day , of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave. 2 And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it.The bible is telling us that, even with Roman soldiers guarding the tomb where Jesus lay,it wasn't enough, the huge stone that blocked the entrance was moved, rolled aside as if it were made of paper. In the gospel of Mark, the happenings on that Sabbath are confirmed,Mark 15:44 - 16:4 Pilate wondered if He was dead by this time, and summoning the centurion, he questioned him as to whether He was already dead. 45 And ascertaining this from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph. 46 Joseph bought a linen cloth, took Him down, wrapped Him in the linen cloth and laid Him in a tomb which had been hewn out in the rock; and he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb. 47 Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses were looking on to see where He was laid. 16:1 When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that they might come and anoint Him. 2 Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. 3 They were saying to one another, "Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?" 4 Looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, although it was extremely large. In those far off days, and indeed as now, when God makes a promise,He keeps it;even though the Romans had put their seal on the tomb,it was broken, despite the guards being in attendance. When we read the gospel according to Luke,it tells us exactly the same,Luke 23:50 - 24:12 And a man named Joseph, who was a member of the Council, a good and righteous man 51 (he had not consented to their plan and action), a man from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who was waiting for the kingdom of God; 52 this man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 53 And he took it down and wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid Him in a tomb cut into the rock, where no one had ever lain. 54 It was the preparation day, and the Sabbath was about to begin. 55 Now the women who had come with Him out of Galilee followed, and saw the tomb and how His body was laid. 56 Then they returned and prepared spices and perfumes. And on the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment. 24:1 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in dazzling clothing; 5 and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, "Why do you seek the living One among the dead? 6 "He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, 7 saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again." 8 And they remembered His words, 9 and returned from the tomb and reported all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. 10 Now they were Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James; also the other women with them were telling these things to the apostles. 11 But these words appeared to them as nonsense, and they would not believe them. 12 But Peter got up and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen wrappings only; and he went away to his home, marveling at what had happened.,and,as we move to the gospel of John, yet again, his words reaffirm the truth of the resurrection,John 19:40 - 20:8 So they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen wrappings with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews. 41 Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid. 42 Therefore because of the Jewish day of preparation, since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there. 20:1 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and saw the stone already taken away from the tomb. 2 So she ran and came to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him." 3 So Peter and the other disciple went forth, and they were going to the tomb. 4 The two were running together; and the other disciple ran ahead faster than Peter and came to the tomb first; 5 and stooping and looking in, he saw the linen wrappings lying there; but he did not go in. 6 And so Simon Peter also came, following him, and entered the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there, 7 and the face-cloth which had been on His head, not lying with the linen wrappings, but rolled up in a place by itself. 8 So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. So you see,in four separate accounts;from four different people,we are told the same story, and,if we look at it logically,we can see the truthfulness of these accounts. If the tomb had been raided by grave robbers, why did they take the time to unwrap the body of Jesus?. Surely, fearing discovery at any time, they would have simply taken the body and fled;secondly, how did they manage to gain entry to the tomb when it was guarded by Roman soldiers?. Thirdly, how did they manage to break the seal and move the stone without being seen?; simple answer, they couldn't;the only possible explanation for the events that happened is what the bible tells us,Jesus rose from the dead, and the prophecy of the resurrection was fulfilled.Today,we celebrate that time, and thank Him for giving us a way back to the Father, for it is by the sacrifice of the lamb, that we are saved, and that,is God's most wonderful promise to us today. After praying on things yesterday,my cell phone beeped, alerting me to a text message,on opening my inbox, there was a message from the benefit agency. As I read,I was reminded, yet again,of the power and love of my Father in Heaven;the message said that having been assessed for work capability,I have been awarded something called the support group component. This means that I no longer have to provide medical certificates to prove I am ill.It went on to say that I will be notified of my new award in the mail, there is no need to contact them further. It's not certain, but there is a chance that my benefit level will be increased, and there may be a few more pounds available every week,I won't know until I get the letter;the main thing is,they finally accept that I am ill,and I no longer need to prove it;thank you Father, thou art Almighty God,and I praise you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord;Amen!.I began praying yesterday, hoping for answers and solutions,I didn't think God would resort to modern technology, but He did, there was my answer in my inbox;as I said, there may be no increase in my benefit, but it's a possibility, and where there is possibility, there is hope;and man!,He can get things going pretty fast can't He?;THAT,is His power,THAT is His love, and THAT is every minute of every day.Until next time journal, may we all have a quiet, restful, and love filled Easter as we remember the sacrifice, and the gift of everlasting life given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ so long ago on the cross at Calvary;..........have a wonderful Easter.

I will agree with you that your benefit level will increase! \"If two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.\" We have God\'s promise. It\'s a done deal! Just praise and rejoice!
