bristol stomp

Went to bed at 8:30 last night, to some mildly loud music from apt below me, woke past midnight to really loud music, with me eventually stomping my foot on the floor, for music to be lowered---and then a couple hours later I just plain jumped up in the air to stomp on my floor a couple times, with sawdust probably coming out of the ceiling below me.
A 65!-year-old below me plays loud rock music like some 16 year old----and he aint deaf.  I'm the one half deaf, he seems to have taken too much lsd back in the 1960s, and smokes too much marijuana right now.
At least this is the end of getting in his car with him; a few days before he was sloppily driving half in the wrong lane, with a teenage? girl in a souped up car almost hitting him head on---and it would have been the 65-yr-old's fault, in his suv.  And, twice I got stuck feeding his two poor cats, when he drove back to his home town of Newark for the night (to get more marijuana?); no more of that, either.
This long haired, harmonica playing, Vietnam vet, ex-heroin addicted nyc panhandler, moved in two months ago....and he's been annoying ever since.....while telling me to my face that I'm depressing.  Now that I'm done trying to be the nice neighbor to him, it's kinda funny, till next 3 in morning REALLY LOUD MUSIC.
And, I'm still wondering how Amazon makes a profit, when this neighbor gets 25 pounds of cat litter delivered to his door, postage free, cause he's signed up for special Amazon membership; he gets cat litter sent to him via u.s. post office, instead of driving to the store on the next block.

We\'ll if he is such a crappy driver maybe it is best he gets his kitty litter delivered. Good on you for trying to be a good neighbor. Loud music and getting stoned kind of go hand in hand. Ugh!

I suppose you could turn him in........ But then what would happen to his cats?

BIG sigh.

Hi, TroJanThunder,

The new tenant\'s poor cats, putting up with noise; they\'re black and white, and look like characters out of a Betty Boop cartoon.

Kinda funny how the landlord finds these people; a few years ago he rented the store under me to a guitar teacher/store---right next to a long time hearing aid store; of course, after some loud electric guitar playing, the long time hearing aid store moved, and is still empty.

The new loud neighbor is also a retired postal worker. And New Jersey drivers are notorious to Pennsylvanians for their bad driving, including not caring about stop signs;)

Well maybe the cats are stoned too so they don\'t care! ha ha!

The worst drivers I have ever seen were in Boston. I was not driving at the time and happily so!

The scariest driving I have ever done was in San Diego. You just had to tromp on it and hope for the best!

it\'s just a matter of time for the new tenant to have an accident, probably in the winter.

i\'ll eventually move my mattress to my living room every night, cause of the noise.

and, once again, I have to worry about fleas from his apt---cause he lets his cats out, after I keep on telling him the homeless cats I feed are forever scratching.

music is again loud, at one in afternoon; mind boggling. Maybe he\'ll eventually be the clich of old geezer ripped off by some teen, after getting high together.

Oh boy! You are probably right. One of those two things will happen to him eventually. Hope you can keep the fleas at bay!
