Brief Update

Had a pretty decent weekend, in spite of coming down with a cold...:-P We went to the fair & I wandered a bit with my mom, keeping her company, I guess. She didn't spend a lot of time there, but we met back at the house, where once again I scored genealogy-wise! Grandparent's marriage certificate, their High School diplomas, my birth certificate & my 1st grade report card (which I was shocked she kept), as well as my grandmother's beautiful wedding dress. I should probably get that cleaned & packed properly.
My son was kind of lazy this weekend & I strongly suspect that he was not being honest with me when he said he got some homework done. Don't know why my husband decided to play a game with him before he supposedly did his homework, but whatever. I'm not interfering!
