Bride sees wedding video man drop dead.

A PHOTOGRAPHER dropped dead in church just as he was about to filma bride walking up the aisle.Video cameraman John Pennington, 67, is thought to have suffered a
massive heart attack.

Devastated bride Amanda Dickinson, 25, was right behind him as he
fell.

She was ushered away into the vestry, leaving groom Craig
Tomlinson, 29, waiting at the altar for an hour.

Rev Andrew Parkinson ordered the organist to carry on playing as
paramedics tried to revive him at St Andrews Church in Longton, near
Preston, Lancashire, last weekend.

Rev Parkinson said: "We had three nurses in the congregation
and they all tried for around 20 minutes to resuscitate Mr Pennington.

"Then the paramedics arrived for a further 10 minutes of
resuscitation before taking him away.

"It was a strain for everybody. I had our organist continue
playing for calm."

Mr Pennington, a professional cameraman from Preston, was not
Rev Parkinson added: "They did well to get through as
cheerfully as they did."
