Well God provided the ideal opportunity to make the breakup with T final, and he was ok with it.  But today, a few days later, he was just all over me after he wanted to talk to me.  As advised, I asked a friend to stand by.  He would not leave me alone and my friend, and he had emotional instability and was not wanting to let go, quite destructive and irrational and all that stuff was really difficult to deal with, but I think I handled it well.  Glad I was following suggestions and had a friend, but for T to just blurt out all that stuff in front of that mutual friend was YUCK.  And really inappropriate and if it weren't coming from him, or even coming from him, SCARY.  It makes it SO hard to believe because people always refer to him as "Christian T**", it's just a different side to him people don't see.  Glad I had a witness.  I'm handling it well but need to increase the avoidance factor.  It's like he seems so soft and gentle but I have gotten validation from people who understand he is not letting go and he is obsessive.  So yeah it's alarming.

It\'ll get easier. I was in a similar situation and I had to set strong boundaries and be very honest. I don\'t know if it\'s a trait with all men or just the ones that I attract, but they haven\'t taken break-ups well. Even when it was there idea in the first place. I guess it\'s not the most pleasant experience for anyone.

I\'ve been in that situation too - so difficult. My thoughts are with you. Wish this ends very very soon. Hugs.
