Wife is in hospital. She went in to the ER last night and they admitted her. She has something wrong with her liver.
I feel bad for her.
She also lost her client yesterday. She still has her job but will have to wait until the agency can find her another client. She goes in to people's homes and takes care of them if they have chronic health problems or mental issues. The lady she was caring for had both so she was a handful and I understood that so kinda kept alot of what she was doing to me, inside. Letting it go in one ear and out the next!
I am almost caught up with business orders. It's so hard to package things with one hand. I actually cancelled an order only because I didn't want to wrap it in cardboard and risk putting any pressure on my thumb. I have inadvertantly done that at times. Ouch! The nerves were trying to tell me something for sure.
I need my coffee and my pills and will go see wife later.
Hope it is not serious. Pray for her please. I don't wish bad health on anybody.

You have not mentioned the BF in your last couple of journals...has he left the scene? Sending prayers and keep us up to date please. We do care too!
Do you not have someone, a friend or neighbor that could lend a hand in boxing up your orders. I know if one of my neighbors asked I would be there to help in a quick minute.
Please, please, PLEASE be careful with that thumb my friend! Healing a wound like that is going to take some time and serious precautions! I\'m with JoyceMarilyn -- ask a neighbor or friend (or even a young person) if they could help you out for a bit on that. Not worth taking a chance on the reattachment not \"taking.\" Hugs to you.
Hope it\'s not Hepatitis, that\'s contagious. If they put her in isolation, ask the Dr. about how to protect yourself. It might just be a reaction to ibuprofen (she might take it daily, many do, and some can\'t). Just take care of yourself.

yes I agree asking a person you know even if it is a friend from AA to stop by and lend a hand will keep the money flowing instead of canceling orders....hope the wife is not a heavy drinker as that coupled with liver problems is not good combo....and yeah what happened to her fuckbuddy?
Joyce, yes he is with her now. We went down together in my car but I had to leave to get some things done. so I will have to pick him up later. Not something I am looking forward to. thanks Joyce
Thanks Cathi. It\'s hard to do things one handed and when I try to balance things with the remaining fingers on my right hand, I can feel pain and pressure in my thumb and sometimes a nerve pain like when u strike ur elbow on something? That type of pain.
Thanks Eli, I hope so too. I told her way back in the beginning that she is taking a HUGE risk with him having hep C and her having fatty liver disease and she said she didn\'t care! Pretty irresponsible, if u ask me! I keep a supply of bleach close by, cos that\'s the only thing that will kill it. Also, I just read that antidepressant medication can cause liver problems and she was on zoloft and wellbutrin was just added and thats when her problem began.

Billy, she hasn\'t had one drink in 30 years but she has non alcoholic fatty liver disease just the same. Her dad died from sirosis and he never drank a drop either. Thanks. I like the idea of asking an AA member for help but I couldn\'t afford to pay him.

I hope everyone is a lot better soon. Please look after that thumb and if you have to forego some money sobeit. However I am certain many people would love to help you out. Maybe one person this week and someone else next time so no one feels too taken for granted or guilty etc.
