brakes

I never trusted anyone to do mechanical work on my car except for the best (and most expensive) mechanics, so unless it was time consuming or complicated, I always did that stuff myself.
Wife took car to a local shop for an inspection and the guy wouldn't pass it without a front brake job, brakes and rotors.  So being the nice guy that I am, I buy the supplies, and bust my back in a hot sun to get the job done. It wasn't the easiest one I ever did either. Had to fight with some rusty bolts but eventually, accomplished what I had set out to do. being careful to stay hydrated while getting a mild sun burn on my back, neck and shoulders.  BF stayed home in air conditioned comfort.

Wife had to rush him to the hospital late last night. They said he pulled a muscle in his leg er something to that affect. Not saying what I am really thinking but I am sure you guys already know.
During an argument a few days ago between her and him, he told her he left his mother for her.  I knew he was codependant with his mom and that confirmed it right there.  Wife was irate to hear that but it's none of my business so I stayed out of it.

I went to an AA meeting last night. My sponser picked me up and gave me a lift.   He asked me how old I was and when I told him he was surprised!  He told me I looked about 15 years younger then my age so I thanked him and told him I hope I don't have any trouble finding someone else when this is all over and done with.  He said he didn't think I would have any trouble at all!  That was a relief!  One of my worst fears is growing old and lonely.

Oh YOU won\'t have ANY trouble finding someone but FIRST you NEED to find out WHY you are allowing yourself to be victimized or you might repeat this abusive relationship again with someone else.

Some pair they are: a full grown man (I\'m guessing at least in his late 40s) is living with his MOTHER and telling YOUR WIFE (while he\'s living in YOUR house) that he left his mother because of her! You know, if this wasn\'t so pathetic it would be funny. Think about the movie possibilities. Let see: who would *star* as your wife and who would *star* as this ridiculous man, and then who would portray your role? Something to have fun with.

I know the answer already before I ask. Because you are a super sweetheart!
WHY?? WHY?? WHY DID YOU FIX THE CAR?
ARE YOU GOING TO GET IT IN THE END?
And YOU bought the parts even!
I hope you find some nice lady that appreciates you when this is over. You are a wonderful person! HUGS!

Thankyou dinah, I am flattered for sure!
Thankyou Eli! I don\'t know why I am so nice to the point of being victimized. It\'s not something I seem to have much control over for some reason. Someone wrote a book about it called, \"I feel guilty when I say no\" which was a bestsellor!
Thanks Joyce! Again I can\'t help being nice! It\'s in my blood but I am aware of the people who use me for a doormat, wife and bf included. Not sure what to do about it?
