Brain fog at it's finest
Tomorrow is my youngest son's birthday party. He will be 5 on Tuesday. Yesterday I went to the grocery store to pick up some things for the party and to rent a carpet scrubber. I had been waiting to clean my carpets until I had a day where I felt good but that did not seem to be coming and my carpets were beyond disgusting so I figured I would suck it up and just get it done.
So, I got to the grocery store and realized I had forgotten my list. I stood there for a few minutes trying to remember but everything had slipped my brain so I decided to run home and get my list. I got home and could not remember what I came home for. Once I realized it and grabbed my list I was off to the grocery store. Got all the stuff on my list, got home, my kids helped me carry everything in. I had to sit down for a bit then decided to lay down for a nap before starting the carpet. Slept for about 2 hours. Got up and realized I forgot to rent the carpet scrubber so I was off to the grocery store once more. Got the scrubber and got home. Vaccuumed the carpet and had to sit down for a bit. Finally got the carpet cleaned with a few breaks to give my joints a break. It looks really night. (just a hint for those of you with carpet...don't use the carpet shampoos, Tide with Bleach works wonders and smells so clean and fresh...even on pet stains!!)
So finally at 10pm last night I returned the carpet scrubber and was done with my house chores for the day. Made another list for today of things I wanted to do before I came into work. So glad for lists because otherwise I would not be able to function!! I am at work now and am completely exhausted and hurting but at least I have a clean home to go home to...if my kids kept it that way!!! After this shift is over I am on staycation for a week so I will have time to rest and see if more time off work is what my body needs. This week will tell!!
Happy 4th of July to you all!
