Boy, am I tired

Stage one of Round up is complete.  I think I mean that quite literally.  The stage is up and mostly decorated.  In fact the decorating is 99.9 percent finished. All 14,400 square feet of it.

The "dude" in the jail appears to have lost his head but Sheriff Ted E. Bear does not seem too concerned over this event.  The Jackalopes seem bent on escaping.  They should be rounded up at any moment by the highly specialized wranglers.  The herd of Lilliputian horses have been saved from a misplaced step and are happily safe in a cactus garden.  The Teddy Bears are settled down for a nice picnic, if they can keep the giant ants from running off with their plastic food.  Their stick horse patiently watch on.

If the above sentences make any sense to you.  Would you please head this way around April of next year.  We could use someone to head the decorating committee.  It ain't gonna be me!!!!!!!!!!!!.

My feet hurt so bad, after 13 hours on that concret floor, I could cry. DennyGene's pedometer says he walked 7.something miles yesterday.  I did at least that and possibly more.  Wait!! What!!!!!!! I said feet.  The only thing on this old body that doesn't hurt is my back, which is really weird cause I have two deterorating disc.  But I think I will just be grateful for small measures.  Even my finger tips hurt.  Sleep seems to be passing me by tonight as the clock just struck 2:00 A.M.

But all in all.  It looks great,  We laughed a lot, screamed a bit.  Tempers were lost and found.  Refigerators and dance floors magically appeared and all is Well with round up 2010.  The decorating is finished, more or less, In about 7 hours, speaker baskets will have been delivered to the hotel and I will be calmly snoozing under the hairdryer at the beauty shop.  At 4 P.M. the first speaker will kick off the event.  And off we will go.  It's been a day.  But I am blessed to have been a part of it.  And Equally blessed that the hard part is over until Sunday when we have to take it all apart.

Love 'n hugs
