Botox

My husband is has Blephara Spasms in his eyes which cause uncontrollable blinking.  It's very tiring and interfers with his driving.  The Motion Disorder Specialist is doing next Wed.  It take about 10 days to get the full benifit and last around 3 or 4 months, so wish his luck! He may be a little puffy for a while, so he'll look like the movie stars...lol.
I sure hope it helps as I don't know what else they can do.  it is very frustrating when he can't drive properly and it's nerve racking for me sometimes.  I am doing more driving now.  It doesn'thappen all of the time as it's spasms, which can happen anytime though so we hope it works but they have to do it again in 3 or 4 months.
The doctor said to my husband, "Are you alright with this Botox?" and my husband said that he doesn't really like needles.  The doctor replied that he didn't know of anyone that likes them!  Oh, well, we can laugh, can't we?

There\'s probably some that would use botox for a different reason & their insurance wouldn\'t cover it. I think I\'ve heard of this procedure & it involved the eyes, but didn\'t know what it was. I\'d drive if I were you??? :>)Deb
