born again...kinda
So much bad stuff has been going on, since november, with car hitting the building i live in, with cats and me stuck at landlord's house till repairs done. Then upstairs idiot slit my bike tire. Christmas amounted to landlord and me exchanging presents. January dentist. Feb ? March bad stuff, culminating with cat to vet.
And, now I feel...pretty good, as though most of the bad stuff was knocked out of me. I even said to myself, out loud, while walking from the grocery store after the vet, "I feel preety good, for a change."
Cold winter is also over, along with $300 electric bills to keep apt warm. My cats caught colds prior times.
Yesterday, I also found some google images re 'stay calm" and "stop worrying", for new desktops.
It also helps that alone-me has this site so that I have 'somebody to talk to."
Hopefully this feeling will last...though I think the next winter will end it again.

i keep on thinking, hoping, to myself, that i can 4get the past, have a different personality, if more good things happened in my life.
IMO our thoughts and feelings about the past are impossible to forget.... But they can be creatively manipulated!

Gosh Penn, I\'d heard your electric and cost of heating was expensive up your way!
It is fast getting that way here in Kentucky.
We are working on trying to insulate more with weather stripping around doors and windows to block some of the cold air coming in; can your landlord do this for you? Just thought with it being his building and all, he could bear the cost of insulating the apartment for you. Or buy the weatherstripping and caulking and negotiate the price of you doing it yourself for him. It is his responsibility to maintain and upkeep the premises.
