Boeing appoints Anne Toulouse as Senior Vice President of Communications
Boeing has appointed Anne Toulouse as senior vice president of Communications. She will lead the company's global communications and brand activities. She will be responsible for leading the organisation responsible for media relations, brand development and management, advertising, digital, in-house creative services, and executive and employee communications.
Since September 2018, Toulouse served as interim senior vice president of Communications. She will continue to report to Boeing Chairman, President and CEO Dennis Muilenburg and serve on the company's Executive Council.
"Anne has worked tirelessly over the course of her 30-year Boeing career to strengthen the company brand and share our story with key stakeholders," said Dennis Muilenburg. "A proven leader with a unique combination of creativity, passion, business acumen, One Boeing strength, and a customer-focused mindset, Anne has the right skills, experiences, values and strategic thinking to lead our world-class communications organisation."
Toulouse had joined Boeing in 1989 as a media relations manager in Huntington Beach. Since then she has held various positions including Vice President of Employee Communications, Business Operations and Corporate Identity and Advertising. Prior to her current duty, Toulouse led Boeing's global brand-building programmes which are designed to help position the company for growth in its second century.
Toulouse has a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. She is also the executive sponsor and ally of the Chicago Boeing Employees Pride Alliance.
