Bob\'s Family and Friends
Bob's Family and Friends Today, I'm feeling somewhat better than a week ago. However, my heart still aches and I'm trying to fight off the ups and downs that come with the territory of losing a friend. If anybody's wondering, Bob served a couple of short stints as a missionary to Thailand and he helped with various local projects as well. He will be remembered in many ways and in heaven, he is rejoicing right now. Personally, he gave me the courage to be more bold in my own ministry and he will be missed by many. He passed away from a heart attack. He was shoveling the snow in his yard earlier in the day. When he went to sleep, he simply didn't wake up and reports say he passed away from a fatal heart attack in his sleep. I guess when it's one's time to go, it's one's time to go. God used him to the fullest. So, yes I'm sad about that, but I rejoice too because I know where he's at and I'll meet him again in the future. So, I'll try to remember that. His memorial service will be held on January 10th. I'll pray for his family and friends and those who were so close to him. Also, I'll especially pray for his family because not too long ago, his brother also passed away. So, there were two deaths within a span of only two months and that's devastating to any family. I'm will try to look beyond this to keep in mind that missionary service for the Lord is cherished in heaven and that no matter what happens, Bob is receiving his reward.
