Bluesday

Dearest,
We had a couple of crestfallen cats yesterday. When I opened your drapes they were expecting to see the snow free back yard that they had seen on Sunday, instead they were confronted with an expanse of fresh snow. There’s more on the way! They say it’s going to snow tomorrow and Thursday for a total of 4-9”. Happy Spring! People on the internet are talking about flowers blooming and birds singing while I’m worrying about the snow blower. “Taint Fair Dammit!”
I found a new song that makes me cry! Well, I didn’t find it, they played it on the radio station. Okay so it’s not new, but I’m hearing it with different ears. You can click it now, not much to watch but you can listen while you read. By the time she got to the lines “I miss the tears, I miss the laughter” I was crying like a little girl again and had to pull over. I’m going to have to rent a little girl to make sure that I’m doing this correctly.
Nothing much new here. I struggle to keep up with the chores and all the paperwork. The weather continues as usual, snow, sleet, rain, etc. We all miss you. If the daffodils ever bloom I’ll bring some to you at the cemetery. I will, no doubt, have to dig through the snow to place them on your grave.
Till the snow stops falling and the wind stops blowing I am, forever, Your Ken

Ken,
I still cannot listen to music. I have my car radio tuned to 24 hour news and my house is radio free silence. Sorry - can\'t listen to this song even for you and Abby. I don\'t know that I\'ll ever listen to music again; where once my life was filled with his music, now it the sounds of silence.

Awww, I am sorry. I was crying for a couple of days too. It comes in waves and you never know when it is going to strike. I met someone on line, but he is coming on way too strong and I am beginning to think I am better off single, go figure, huh? I like to listen to the comedy channel on XM radio...the clean station. There were some good jokes today :) I wish I could remember one so I could share the laughter with everyone. I will look on utube and see what I can find. Sending you a hug and hope the blasted snow stops, sheesh, how much snow do you need ? LOL, hopefully spring will come to New York soon :) Sending you a hug and thanks for your entry, it made my day :)

Rent a little girl? Too, too funny! The crying will hit you at the strangest times. Music has been in my life so much, people at work say a word, and I start singing a song. It\'s become a joke of sorts now. Maybe one day, songs won\'t cause so much pain. I still can\'t believe you have snow.

Ken, beautiful song...it had me crying too. We used to listen to Carole King in the car every weekend when Larry picked me up and drove me back to residence at school. So many memories keep flooding back to me when I listened to that song. Snowing here too. My son was going to come to visit overnight tonight but unfortunately due to weather I spend yet another night alone, thinking of you, hugs Lu Ann

Ken, I just listened to the song and think that maybe we need to concentrate on the words \"We are the lucky ones\" as we did get to have our soul mates for a time no matter how short. I am sure none of us would give up the time we had with them for anything. We just had a taste of spring here in Illinois but winter is coming back this week. Hugs Diane

Just a beautiful song. Yep brings the tears. But because we had such wonderful loves. Wow still snow! I love snow my friend but not like you get. Trying hard to send you some of this sunshine and flowers. On down side we are getting tons of pollen. Everything is turning yellow from these pines. Does no good to wash the car, it is a deep blue color but within minutes covered in yellow again. Hope you see Spring soon without pollen.
hugs,
Cie

Darn...why did you post that when I am on the way out the door. OK so maybe I am a day late reading and listening....Thank goodness for waterproof mascara. I hope your snow ends soon. I have been complaining about the winds here in OK...but I will take the 70 degrees and the winds over the snow. So thanks for the perspective.
Hugs
Angie
