Dearest,
As in a tale of two cities, It was the worst of times, let's face it, It was the worse of times. I woke up this morning (technically it was still morning) to no water. After some quick trouble shooting called a well guy. He came out, confirmed my diagnosis and will be back Blursday to replace it. In the meantime, I have no water! Trying to melt snow to flush the toilet, not going well. A huge bucket of snow yields about a quart of water. I'm trying to eat things that dirty the absolute least amount of dishes. Will run out tomorrow and by more bottled water. What ELSE can go wrong?
I have gotten fourteen hours of sleep so far today. I am back to counting from midnight just like every winter. I'll probably get a couple more before midnight tonight. I'm tired! Made myself laugh with that one! Cleared the drifts off of the roof and of course moved that 5' snowdrift off of the cellar doors. Had to in order to check on the well pump power etc. I have to snow blow a path for the well guy tomorrow so that he can get his equipment in. Forgot to call Doogie lawyer, will tomorrow.
That muscle in my back is acting up again, the one by my shoulder blade. Shovelling? No, although that probably set the table, I turned to look out the window and felt it go. Makes it hard to fall asleep but once I do seems to be fine. Trying to deal with it, gonna raid the Motrin. I seem to be sinking deeper and deeper into chaos and despair, just can't fight anymore, come get me.
