Blue Mood

I'm so glad I found this sight!  The kids went back to school last week, and it feels like fall outside.  I love the fall, but I just feel that the constant lack of support for myself and the children really make it difficult to enjoy anything.  My church is not working out for our family - they are struggling and cannot provide much support but constantly ask for help.  My husband, who died three years ago, worked constantly, didn't establish any support system with me, and I am  still struggling to find support.

My heart aches for you; what a heavy load for a young woman with children. I am old enough to be your mom - actually my daughter is 41 and her children are 16 and 9. I am thankful she is not a widow. I lost my husband 2 yrs. ago to leukemia, and was his caregiver for 2 yrs. You will find there are many at this site your age and younger. It is a good place to find support and encouragement. I\'m sorry you don\'t have a good support system there. May God bless and comfort you -

Thank you so much. Both my parents have passed away, so everyone is, hopefully, helping me from above while I take care of the kids. I\'m sorry for your loss as well, and my prayers are with you.
