Blue Bird

Yesterday my wonderful 40 yr old deaf son and I went to chiropractor as my back, neck and knees have been hurting for over a week now. After the appt  we talked and went to the store to look for birdseed. We got 6 bags of seed and 2 new feeders. In the afternoon Brian put seed out and then spotted a blue bird. First thing we both thought was "Is that Dad?" Bob loved the color blue and he loved to sit in his chair and watch the birds and the squirrels, my Dad used to feed squirrels peanuts out of his shirt pocket when laying in his hammock, so Bob and I joked that the squirrels who came around were family because our family is a bunch of nuts. We named a red squirrel Aunt Alice after my aunt with red hair who passed away 10 years ago.
After a little while we spotted 2 little blue birds and said maybe it's Dad and son James who died at birth 26 years ago. I was able to get a picture of them sitting  out on some trees that recently got cut down and 1 in the flowers under a birdfeeder.
