blowing my own horn

my grandmother used to have a saying, there is more then one way to skin a cat.  Okay due to a bad browser and my worsening arthritis, I am no longer able to instant message anyone.  But I have discovered that I still have friends here at daily strength; I just have to write more.  I don't mean to blow my own horn, but I a.m. a wonderful writer.  Did you know I write short stories and poetry maidenly for my self.  I enjoy it.  I a.m. a great reader too.  Although I am greatly visually impaired I read or listen to the least one book a week.  Today I seem a little less lost
