Happy peaceful sunny thursday! :) it's warm outside, and feels like spring time again! :) awww! :) Special sunshine greetings, from our garden. :) it's a day of enjoying nature, gardening, organizing, and looking forward to another incredible 3 days, with pizza party baking friday, then saturday's preakness stakes horse race celebration, and gardening/shopping sunday! :) there's so much to look forward too. :) my throat is feeling better today, i've been having some nice hot tea, pumpkin spice with vanilla creamer. :) delicious! :) i've been doing so well with my healthy eating this week. :) i have lost another 3 pounds, i'm down to 212, only 7 pounds away from my goal! :) i'm feeling nicely energized, and spirit soaring today! :) it's great to see the blue sky, and sunshine. :) i did some nice sunflower gardening today, and taking some new nature, and gardening pictures. :) i'm really happy, and thankful the weather has warmed up, and we hope it continues to remain warm. :) We're getting closer to memorial day holiday weekend, and our annual big gardening weekend. :) my family and i are all doing well. :) Kayla's having lots of cool events at school, as her and her classmates are enjoying their final year of elementary school. :) they got a huge field trip planned for next month, going to the amusement park! :) my sister Lisa is going too! :) today, i've been enjoying some nature walks, tending the plants, soaking up some nice warm weather, and sunshine, and also organizing my computer room a bit. :) it's a nice peaceful day, and i feel very spirited about the upcoming 3 days. :) when i said to Kayla this morning, "how about a pizza party in the kitchen tomorrow!" :) She smiled, and said, "oh yeah!" :) awww! :) The cookie monsters are uniting! :) it's almost time to bake! bake! bake! :)
HAPPY FRIENDSHIP SMILES, AND GARDENING CHEER, SENT WITH LOTS AND LOTS OF LOVE, FROM OHIO! :) awww! :) very special greetings, from our dear, and lovely friends, Cj (ddeadred) and her family. :) This afternoon, i recieved a lovely envelope in the mail, from Cj and her family. :) awww! :) i am smiling, and would love to share with everyone, about this beautifully heart warming gift, and treasure. :) It's such a wonderful joy, getting to share our days, adventures, and experiences with eachother. :) one of my favorite times of the year, and sweet joys of the seasons, is celebrating the gardening season with everyone. :) our dear friends Cj and her partner Guy own a farm, and it's amazing and such a sweet wholesome and heart warming joy, to be able to experience the wonderful happiness, and peace, of farmlife, through the very special friendships we share with Cj and her family. :) her beautiful farm, garden, nature, and all of the lovely flowers, and fruits and vegetables crops they grow. :) it's amazing, and always brings a sweet warmth to our hearts. :) a nature, and gardening celebration, across the miles, sharing many happy friendship smiles :)
Cj, and her family sent us, a beautiful nature, friendship, and gardening themed card, that reminds me of her beautiful farm and garden. :) on the front of the card, there's 2 happy smiling sunflower blossoms, with a lovely display of red, white, and blue American flag baskets, filled with strawberries, blueberries, and apples. :) a sweet harvest of fresh garden goodness :) it's so nice, and i have already selected a spot to pit the card in my writing area. :) inside the card, Cj wrote me a lovely note, and said wonderful things to me, about how she enjoys celebrating the gardening season with my family and i, and how she is so happy i help to teach Kayla and Taylynn how to garden :) awww! :) Cj's note is very sweet, and touched my heart in many wonderful ways :) i remember when Cj and i first met here on Ds in 2007, and celebrated our first gardening season with eachother. :) Cj's given me amazing garden advice over the years, and one of the most special words of advice she has ever given me, is when i was going through rough times with my anxiety, and i remember Cj said to me, "go out into the gardens, and gain energy from the plants" :) it definitely does, and to this day, i keep that wonderful advice always in my thoughts, and in my heart. :) i'm very happy, DS has brought us all together, and our beautiful friendships blossom each day, in the wonderful garden of life :) Cj, CHEERS! to our friendship, and to gardening. :) Thank you Cj, and family, so very much, for this very special, and beautifully heart warming treasure. :) my family and i deeply appreciate everything, with all of our hearts. :) Happy nature, and gardening smiles, sent with lots and lots of love, from our home to your beautiful farm :)
SUNNY SPRING, WARM WEATHER RETURNS, AND GEARING UP, FOR LOTS OF SPRING TIME FUN THE UPCOMING 3 DAYS! :) my family and i hope everyone is enjoying a great day, and hope the weather is nicely warm and comfortable where you are. :) We have a nice warm up in the weather here. :) the past 3 days, were very chilly cold, and really hard to dwelve into our yard and garden, even the butterfly's, bumble bees, and birds were not around much, but are beginning to come back out, for some sunny warm weather. :) it's very nice today, seeing the sunshine, and blue sky, and just feeling the warmer weather. :) our plants are definitely spirit dancing in the gardens today, and i have been too! :) we have some new sunflower sprouts in our planters. :) our planters have been nicely protected from the cold weather, and also protected from the squirrels, that were eating our seeds we planted last week. it's so nice, to see the tiny little sunflower sprouts sprouting up. :) we have them in peat moss planters, so when the sunflowers grow a bit bigger, we'll be able to just plant the peat moss planter in the ground and the sunflower will have lots more growing space. :) i'm seeing some new sprouts in my mom's peace flower garden, that is a wonderful surprise. :)
Last season, i remember we planted so many flowers seeds in the garden area, but didn't see any sprouts, but the seeds must have remained amongst the soil there, and are sprouting up this season. :) sunflowers, and other sprouts. :) it's making for some sweet surprises in the garden. :) our daffodils, tulips, and hyacinth's, gave us a beautiful and joyful view of early spring time blossoming. :) we r eally enjoyed those flowers, and seeing them. :) 9 tulips, 5 hyacinth's, and also many daffodils, that brought us lots of joy, happiness, peace, and beautiful memories of those happy flower smiles, that we'll forever cherish in our hearts. :) The next wave of flowers that will be blossoming, will be, our roses, tiger lillies, and day lillies. :) we have 2 varieties of day lillies in the memorial flower garden. :) there's golden yellow lillies, and strawberry candy variety lillies. :) it's gonna be awesome to see them blossoming. :) our trees have grown their full leaves, they look amazing in our backyard, and our dogwood tree, continuing to shine. :)
We've got some fun gardening projects planned. :) We're gonna plant lots of flowers seeds in our bird feeders/gardening area. :) i see some sunflower sprouts in this garden. :) our snowball bush has grown absolutely sweet nature wild too! :) we load this garden up, with lots of morning glorys, nasturiums, and also more sunflowers. :) i've been enjoying some nature walks today. :) i planted a few sunflower seeds in my favorite gardening area. :) it's a nice day to do a little gardening. :) i saw soem bumble bees, a white butterfly, and some birds. :) there was a bluejay visiting our yard, they sure do love those peanuts. :) i took some new nature pictures today. :) the plants, and trees are doing really well. :)
BAKING FRIDAY PLANS AND PREAKNESS HORSE RACE CELEBRATIONS! :) This morning, i woke up, feeling a bit better, my throat was very sore/scratchy yesterday and i was worried i was coming down with a cold. i made some tea yesterday evening, with tomato vegetable soup, and also had half of a sandwich, and parmesan cheesebread, it was really good. :) our dear friend Holly and i enjoyed watching ghost hunters and haunted collector's show last night. :) we watched a sweet old school episode of ghost hunters from season 2, featuring a lighthouse. :) it was spook-tacular! :) i got a good night's rest, and this morning, my throat was feeling better. :) i'm very thankful :) i made some more pumpkin spiced tea with vanilla creamer, and i also had some raisin bran cereal. :) yum! :) i was talking with my mom, Lisa, and Kayla, and i said, "baking friday tomorrow!" :) awww! :) i said to Kayla, "how does a pizza party in the kitchen sound!" :) She said, "oh yeah!" :) Awww! :) We're gonna turn our kitchen into a pizzeria, and baking a stuffed crust pizza and French bread pizza's :) it's gonna be so much fun. :) We're looking forward to the adventure and sharing our adventure with everyone. :)
This saturday, is the Preakness Stakes horse race, the 2nd race in the Triple Crown. :) my mom, dad, and i are very happy and excited about the big day. :) it's gonna be awesome celebrating it! :) the winner of the Kentucky derby, Orb, is the favorite, and there's also 8 other horses in the race. :) i've been looking at the lineup, doing a little reading, and studying about the horses. :) Orb really looks like he's destined to win, and would be so cool to have a nice exacta bet, with Orb 1st, and having a longshot come in 2nd place, it would be nice winning ticket. :) i like the #3 horse, named "title town five", i got a feeling about that horse when i saw the Preakness lineup. :) i'll definitely place a bet on that horse, that's a longshot. :) my mom, dad, and i are looking forward to going to the Mohegan Sun casino on saturday to place some bets on the race. :) it's gonna be lots of fun. :) We're gonna watch the race here at home. :) i'm gonna cash in my winning derby ticket on saturday too. :) we look forward to celebrating the Preakness, and hope to have some winning tickets. :) i'll probably bet with about $10 or $12, and hoping to come in the money again! :) GO HORSES GO! :)

GOAL UPDATES :) i've been doing really well, keeping balanced with my days, and healthy eating. :) i've been eating lots more fruits and vegetables, and remembering portion control with my meals. :) i feel like i've been in a fairly good zone, the past 4 weeks, with my healthy eating. :) i've lost another 3 pounds, i'm down to about 212 now, and only 7 pounds away from my goal of being 205. :) i'm gonna continue to keep up the great spirits with healthy eating, taking good care of myself. :) i've been enjoying some nice pineapple, salads, baked sweet potatoes, and also my raisin bran cereal. :) shoprite has a sale, only $1.88 for a box of raisin bran. :) pineapples are on sale too, only $2.50 for a whole pineapple. :) i love enjoying some slices of pineapple, especially for snack time, and i love when i have fruits for snack during the evenings/night time. :) with it being gardening season, i'm enjoying gardening, tending the plants, and nature walks. :) it's a great source of exercise :) i'm really dedicated to continued good health :) Thank you all for your amazing love, care, support, guidance, and encouragement. :) it helps me a lot. :) i'm with you all, all the way, with our goals, and continued success of achieving progress. :)

We're enjoying a nice peaceful day. :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits. :) today for lunch, i enjoyed a fresh crisp salad with cucumber slices, pineapple, and a baked sweet potato. :) lunch was delicious! :) it's been so nice, enjoying some sunny warm weather today. :) i had a nice time taking some new pictures of our plants and trees to share with everyone. :) i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends. :) i'm very happy and excited about the upcoming few days, with lots of spring festivities. :) my family and i want to take this time, to thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us. : )You all are very special friends. :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of our hearts. :) BIG GROUP HUG :) tonight, i'm going to enjoy some pineapple for snack, and going to watch tv. :) There's many more great things to look forward too. :)
