Bloody wedding cake!!!
Well not a good 24hrs!! been trying to get hold of the lady who is supposed to be doing our wedding cake for the last 24hrs with no luck. so tonight panick has struck!! at least we havent paid for the rest of it yet. we paid a bloody deposit which my partner will try and get back now as we dont want to use her anymore. only 3 weeks to go and need to find another person who can make our cake!! this other person, i have left so many messages and e-mail with no reply. i feel so angry and let down, jokey you know anyone who makes cakes??...lol

I do. Too bad I\'m so far away. I like you so much I\'d do it all in chocolate and as a present, but I\'m just not up to the trip over the big puddle to deliver it and on top of it all I suspect you picked the same day to get married as my favorite nephew because his wedding is about 3 weeks away, too. There has to be someone else around who can do a decent cake for you! I feel for you and hope you find a resolution and sure wish I could help you out - even though it has been a while since I have made one. I\'m not sure the kind that I make are the same as what you would use in England, either. They aren\'t the same as the ones in France, that\'s for sure! I went to a French wedding where the cake had sparklers on it like American kids run around the yards playing with on the 4th of July! Keep us posted.
the date is 27th june..thank you xx im sure the morning will bring us something. a new day after all. sparklers?? nope we dont have them here on wedding cakes. just the plain cake with icing and decoration. we opted for sponge as we both dont like fruit cake. hope you are feeling better now after the op.
