Blood pressure and swelling issues....
So I am trying my best to remain calm. My blood pressure was borderline high at my OB appointment on Friday (150/90 I think), but went down when I was laying, so my OB is going to monitor me every week.
With family in town and the shower and all I had a busy weekend. As of Saturday, my swelling has gotten worse, in my hands now and all the way up my calves past my legs. It is the worst its been tonight, even since I have been resting since I got home from work at 4:00. My home blood pressure monitor has generally been reading 140's/80's, which isn't TOO bad but isn't great either. After my DH looked at my legs, I decided to call the Dr on call. She said my blood pressures weren't too bad but didn't like the way the swelling sounds, so I need to go in to the office tomorrow. I am pretty sure my regular OB is in, so at least that is good.
I am just convinced I have or will have preeclampsia. My DH keeps trying to reassure me that everything will be fine, but I am concerned. Hopefully it isn't the case, or if it is, it stays mild. I am only 32 1/2 weeks and no where near ready to deliver yet. Prayers please!!
