Blocked By Adware

I just wrote a new journal entry, but it's gone.  I should have backed it up to a text file like I usually do, but I got absorbed in the topic and didn't.  Then I accidentally rolled the cursor over that ad space in the lower left...and poof!  The screen went to black and I lost the entry...no little x in the corner to shut the ad off, no video of some product, no nothing...just black screen.
I'm tired now, and I'm not typing a new entry.  Maybe tomorrow I'll get back to the journal...sorry, but this is not my fault.  Adware is badly written software thrown together quickly for an easy buck...and it often jams things up.  I'm going to go lie down.

Thanks, Darla. I\'m sure Oprah will be thrilled to hear from us.

I fell asleep and slept right through my evening tv news programs. Sometimes it\'s best to just fold your cards, toss them on the table, and drop out of the game for a while.

The smoke has been relentless, it\'s hot, and I\'m tired of keeping the windows shut in all this heat. Tonight the smoke has let up and I have a few windows open...maybe they are done for the week.

oh no....this has sometimes happened to me....just alllll disappeared, though I hadnt really thought it through as to why, jsut thought it was DS acting up or myself clicking by mistake something I should have done. Glad the smoke has let up, at least a little, tonight, must be good for you when the seasons change? xxx

The smoke is here all year round, Kat. Lately there has been smoke just about every day, some days much worse than others. Today has been good so far, but there was enough this morning to make me cough when I went outside, so I kept the windows shut.

They try to gloss things over on the tv news by calling it \"the smell of smoke\". If it burns your nostrils and your eyes, makes your chest hurt, and gives you sinus trouble and a cough, it\'s not just a bad odor, it\'s fine particulates. Those will cause lung cancer, asthma, and COPD...the evidence is clear on that. And wearing a dust mask will do no good whatsoever, the County Health Dept. has warned people about that.

People like me with chronic respiratory issues are supposed to stay indoors if smoke is in the air.

It just now started up again and I had to run around and close all the windows.

Have a good night & I look forward to your next entry. Hope that acrid smoke dissipates. Hugs, Linda
