Blizzard Update 6 Feb 2010 - 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time
Hello again kids!Just came in from an hour at the barn...Tom blew a path from the porch to the side door of the Cowgirl Clubhouse so I could get in to feed the horses. THEN I had to shovel my way out the door from the aisle so I could get the stall doors open to refill water buckets! Jeez Louise, I have NEVER seen it snow like this! My camera got cold and shut down after the first couple of shots...when I finished at the barn, I put it inside while I shoveled off the hot tub cover. Then, I stuck a yardstick in the path....23" and still coming down! I'll get the photos up as soon as I can.Keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Tom is doing his best to try to keep at least the blacktop part of the lane open, but I told him to forget the rest...someone is going to have to come in here with a V-blade or a bigass plow to get us out of here!I couldn't sleep last night worrying about all the snow weight on the roofs...but I guess there isn't a lot that can be done about it right this minute. Too dangerous out there.Oh, and it's a balmy 20 degrees here. Ugh!

you are in my thoughts kiddo.. sounds awful..
bundle up and snuggle by the fire. Call a plow service to get yoiu out. When it snows that deep there is no sense trying to shovel out yourself.
A half decent 50 dgrees here. Rain is gone.
Think Barbados!!! Ben and I are working on a Hawaiian vacation (I wish) for tonights dinner. He is drawing me pictures to decorate and we have been cooking up a storm (no pun intended) I hope we are eating by candle light for fun and not because we have no electricity. Dumba## took the generator when he left. You are lucky to have the BIG generator available, that is at least some peace of mind. Try not to worry--God got you through a divorce this blizzard should be a walk in the park after that. Can\'t wait to see the pics--I don\'t think I have ever seen that much snow from one fall. keep us up to date with how all is going.
Hang in there and my prayers are with you guys. Enter a comment here

OMG, stay safe and warm, hopefully it will warm up soon. And here in the Pacific Northwest, we\'ve broken records for the warmest Jan. on record!
I feel for you, we are in the midst of a winter storm; should be getting 14 inches or so. We had our big dump at X-mas. Best to stay tight, bake cookies and play games. Enjoy the lock-in!
