Blizzard of 2015. We got about 2 feet of snow here. i got videos/pictures of the storm! incredible!
BLIZZARD of 2015! WOW! WOW! WOW!!! ABSOLUTELY BREATHE TAKING!!! OH MY!!! OH WOW!!! HUGE SNOWFALLS! WINDS! BLIZZARD CONDITIONS! 4 foot high SNOW DRIFTS!!! i made 2 videos this morning, and took pictures of the blizzard! This is absolutely incredible to see, these sights! The force of nature! a Blizzard! i got 2 videos here, i made during the morning heart of the storm, with a heavy snow-band in our area! it's still snowing out there! This is unbelievable!!! my family and i hope and pray, that everyone is ok, keeping warm, and safe. We're doing ok, we're riding out the storm here at home. our power is thankfully on. one of the biggest snowstorms i've ever seen!!! snow up to our front door, and covering our cars! schools are already closed for tomorrow. Hi angel friends! We got a blizzard here! last evening, into the night, and this morning, heavy snow, winds, oh wow! that blusterly winds! we couldn't even see much out our front window to our street, and couldn't see down our road! i bundled up very warmly, and made 2 videos, during the early morning, shortly after 7am, into the Blizzard storm! in the video, you can hear my surprised voice, my stunned reaction to the sights i saw, my spirit soaring with the force of nature, to make these 2 videos to share. The Blizzard of 2015. As i write this, it's still snowing out there, we had,a very heavy non-stop band of snow, in our area, for hours and hours, it snowed, and snowed, and SNOWED!!! over 2 inches an hour, during these times. my family and i hope everyone is doing ok, keeping warm, and safe. our thoughts, prayers, and hearts are with everyone. We're snowed in here, huge winterstorm. during the evening yesterday, we began to heave those winter blizzard blusterly winds, whoosh! whoosh!!! the type of winds, that make windows rattle, and cold air, can be felt a bit, by the window side. The snow, coming down very hard, into the evening, and night. We all were tuning into our local news, weather channel, to check the latest updates, including our govenor speaking to the state. We woke up this morning, to the intensity, of the blizzard, still in full effect. my mom and Lisa went out into the living room, they said, "Chris, check this out! snow is up to our front door!" wow!!! i knew i was gonna bundle up warmly, because i wanted to make some nature videos to share. oh wow! what an opportunity i had this morning, going out bundled up warmly, a HUGE bowl of goodies, to make spots to put goodies for the birds, and squirrels.
The visibility was very bad outside, we had a hard time seeing our front street, due to the winds, and heavy snow. that band of snow was in our area for hours, and it was just snowing, and snowing, and snowing! like a non-stop snow! WOW! when i first walked outside, 1st step, was noticing that the snow, right there up to our front steps, i couldn't even see our front steps! yikes!!! i was careful, as i began to walk around, i began to film with my digital camera, making a video, as i SNOW STEPPED around our front yard, it's absolutely incredible, and just breathe taking! those winds, the snow falling so hard, and so fast! i walked around our side of our driveway, the snow drifts near our cars, are about 3 to 4 feet high! in the videos, you could hear my surprised voice, stunned by the sights, seeing snow all the way up past our garden area on the side of our driveway! our backyard gate, with about 3 and a half feet of snow, unable to open the gate, until i gave it an extra push. it's a fluffy light snow.
i walked all around our backyard, i had made the 1st video, and then began to make a 2nd video, over by the nature forest area of our yard, it was getting so very much more windier, it was wild! i was in that nature forest, and it was just, snow! snow! wind! wind! snow! wind!!! WOW!!!!!! oh my! this was nature wild!!! i continued to make the video for a little while, and then made my way back out front. earlier, between videos, i fell out by the bird sanctuary in our yard, i tripped over something, and went flying forward, yikes!!! i'm ok, but did rip/tear my jeans! i'm ok though :) i did get to put goodies alla round our yard, for the birds and squirrels :) i saw mr. nut squirrel, and some birds, they are gathering the goodies, i knowo the goodies are helping them, through the storm. in the 2nd video, my mom was looking out the front door, she said, "it looks really bad out here!" oh wow! i came indoors to warm up, and made a nice hot tea. :) CHEERS!!! :) it's definitely a hot drink day, keeping cozy warm, and enjoying the warmth of the home. :) We've been watching our local news a lot today, to keep updated, on the latest. when we woke up, we had close to 2 feet of snow, and they said, possibly another 5 to 9 inches of snowfall today! We're having a nice day keeping warm indoors :) the govenor of our state addressed the state a couple times, and lifted the travel ban at 2pm. schools are already closed for tomorrow too. my family and i have been hanging out together, i also been enjoying some time here on ds, writing to friends :) it's continued to snow very steady, for most of the day. we're all looking forward to sunnier days ahead, hopefully this was the last big storm, of winter. today for lunch, i enjoyed some nice onion soup, and corn tortilla's with chipotle ranch salad dressing :) lunch was delicious! :) Tonight, Holly and i are going to watch the new episode of "Face-off", on the syfy channel :) We love that show :)We hope everyone is doing well, and having a peaceful day :) it's been a big day, with the blizzard. We're gonna be home tomorrow, as we settle into the week, and looking forward to the upcoming superbowl on sunday :) i put some more bird seeds in our backyard, for the birds and squirrels :) i put most of the goodies on the bird feeders, to protect the food, from the snow. Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us :) Your well wishes, prayers, are very comforting :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM COZY SNOW DAY HUG! :) There's many more great things to look forward too :)

Oh dear Chris you got your cardiovascular exercise today!!! Walking in that crazy snow will really get your heart pumping! Honestly, that was probably your exercise for the week!!! That said, get out in it again and get some more of that wonderful exercise and you won\'t peel those extra pounds off that you wanted to lose!!!
I also went to just our little town today to go to the dollar store. I also got a little gasoline because I didn\'t want to run to low because I have to run for will drive out here with the snow. Now, I\'m inside listening to poppy snore and that\'s perfectly fine with me. I\'ve got that yummy chili in the freezer and some cornbread besides, so that\'s my dinner and I\'m going to get it together and get it in my body. I am starving!

Hi Chris Glad you and your family are home and keeping warm .Your videos pretty much look like outside my condo door.We have at least 3ft of snow or more outside.I lost my internet and phone for about an hour late this afternoon. It really makes you feel cozy when you are in a warm house when there is a blizzard.I have to admit I love the snow, I do not like winter but I do like the snow. That is A LOT of SNOW! I am glad you are ok after tripping & falling. Snow is very rough to walk in and especially when you cannot see what is under you. Whew!
