Blizzard of 08 Aftermath!

Well, the official tally is just over 20 inches of snow.  Everything is closed again today. Still under a level 2 snow emergency.  So no gym.   No church, no girl scout birthday party.  I'm kinda bummed about that, cause it is kinda theraputic to get to talk to others under your same cirucumstance.  But.....  I guess that won't happen today.  Hubby did get out this morning in search of donuts.  Don't know if he will find anyone open though.  I'm really glad he has the Suburban.  And he just bought new tires for it.  Good thing, and I thought we couldn't afford the new tires (about a thousand dollars for 4).  Saw something on the news this morning that made me cry.  A couple got married yesterday, can you imagine, in the middle of a blizzard.  Some folks couldn't make it to the wedding, like the organist, the soloist, lol.  But they got married anyway.  The groom's license plate, this is the best part, snw lvr.  Get it, snow lover! lol.  I did a bit of boredom eating yesterday, not good.  And very little exercise.  I gained one pound yesterday.  Hoping it will be a very lonely pound!  But overall, surviving I think.
